The 7+1 .45 ACP Dan Wesson Pointman Carry (DW PM-C) is the smallest of the Pointman trio, which also includes the DW Pointman Nine and DW Pointman Seven types. The PM-C comes only in one caliber: .45 ACP. It combines a Commander length slide atop an Officer type frame. It evokes its two other siblings, but it has a shorter grip and thus shorter overall height, making it easier to conceal carry.

The Pointman Carry has a fiber optic front sight and a fixed ledge sight at rear.

The barrel vaulted slide is brush finished, the frame is forged stainless steel and the grips are made of wood. The gun has both a grip safety and a manual thumb safety.

Main metrics include a 4.25” long barrel, 8” overall length, 1.45” width while the width, as befits a metal gun, is 36.7.

To further its mission as a concealed carry weapon (CCW), it avoids front slide serrations and has them only on the back.

Beautiful details abound, such as the skeletonized hammer, beveled low profile slide stop and thumb safety. At back is a grip safety, which many people feel is the best kind of safety. The beavertail it flows into is elegant and curves upward. There are other curves too, such as the subtle bulge at the bottom of the mainspring housing as it approaches the magwell.

Other than two elegant wood grip panels, this gun has all brush finished stainless steel looks.

The trigger guard is curved and inside resides a solid single action curved match trigger.

The grip has the aforementioned grip panels. It also has sharp 25 lines per inch horizontal checkering on both the metal frontstrap and backstrap.
