Desert Tech, formally Desert Tactical Arms, is located in West Valley City, Utah and was founded in 2007. With “Tomorrow’s Weapons” as their motto, Desert Tech is known for producing the most accurate and compact rifle systems on the market. Desert Tech strives to be the leader in developing future technology for firearms and providing the utmost quality products, ammunition, and training for military, law enforcement, and private gun owners.

Desert Tech manufacturers three types of rifles—HTI, SRS, and MDR. All their firearms are tested carefully and produced with high standards of quality. The HTI, Hard Target Interdiction, rifle is perfect for long range shooting and was built with the military in mind. With a max range of 2,750m, this rifle is compact, ergonomic, convertible, and accurate. The HTI has four different calibers built to fit the specific needs of the shooter: .375 CT, .408 CT, .416 Barret, and .50 BMG. According to Desert Tech, the HTI is 11 pounds lighter than the M107 that the US Army is currently using.

The SRS-A2, Stealth Recon Scout, firearms come in standard or covert models. It is 33 inches long, 8.8 pounds and has an effective range of 1650 meters. Used by military and law enforcement around the world, the SRS-A2 is more accurate than the prior model SRS-A1 and has greater mobility. This rifle can easily be converted between .308 Win, 6.5CM, .300 Win Mag, and .338 LM which allows the shooter to tailor the gun to their specific needs. The Covert model is a bit lighter and smaller than the Standard but still packs all the same great features. The SRS-A2 rifle is perfect for big game hunters, or precision shooting competitions.

Desert Tech’s Micro Dynamic Rifle, or the MDR, is portable, adaptable, and ambidextrous. Like the HTI, the MDR was designed with the military in mind. The MDR is lightweight, weighing in at 8.3 pounds and can be converted between multiple calibers. With a free-floating barrel, this rifle has great accuracy and no modifications are necessary. The MDR is ambidextrous making shoulder transitions effortless. Browse through the Desert Tech listings to find the right rifle model for you.

Desert Tech also produces different types of accessories for their rifles, such as, scope mounts, magazines, conversion kits, and muzzle brakes.
