The Churchill 512 gun is feature-rich with great attributes. While quality and accuracy are paramount, it’s also impossible to disregard the looks. The beauty starts with the steel nickel finished receiver and blued side-by-side barrels. These are bedded into a gorgeous Turkish walnut forend and American-style curved pistol grip stock.

As far as features go, the stock has a nice straight padded buttpad. Both forend and the grip display beautiful texturing in pennant surrounds. Between the barrels is a concave rib topped by a front bead sight. The 512s come with a trio of choke tubes. The receivers are sized commensurate to the bore diameter. The smaller the bore, the smaller the receiver.

Underneath, the trigger is eye-catching not only due to its gold plating but to the trigger guard’s fine scroll. The paddle top lever is skeletonized. The gun has a manual tang safety and extractors present any spent casings when you break open the gun.

The Churchill 512 has four options that fall into 26” or 28” barrel versions. First is the 12-gauge. It has 28” barrels, 2.15” width, 47” overall length and weighs 6 pounds. The 20-gauge, 28-gauge and .410 bore all have 26” barrels. These range between 1.93” for 20-gauge down to 1.57” wide for .410 bore. EAA lists weight as 6 pounds. All four have a 14.37” length of pull.
