The iconic Henry Repeating Arms Side Gate Lever-Action Rifle offers choices for .30-30 Win, .38-55 Win, .35 Rem and .45-70 Gov't ammo. The first three are 5+1 capacity while the .45-70 is 4+1. The tube magazine lever-action guns stand out for their side gate architecture that makes loading a snap. And all this goes great with the lovely deep checkered American walnut stock. The beauty continues with polished hardened brass receivers, barrel bands and buttplates.

Above the barrel, you’ll find an ivory bead front sight and fully adjustable Semi-Buckhorn sight with a reversible white diamond insert. You can adjust it for windage and elevation. The sight is dovetailed. So, adjustments for windage are by tapping the sight. And for elevation, one slides the elevator back and forth along the notches. Additionally, the receiver is drilled and tapped for Weaver 63B mount scopes.

The checkering is beautifully detailed with scrolls and the Henry name in front and stylish scrolls at the grip. There are front and back swivel studs.

There are four models covering the four aforementioned calibers. The .30-30 Win (1:12 twist ratio), .38-55 Win (1:18) and .35 Rem (1:16) have round blued steel 20" barrels, a 14” length-of-pull (LOP) ,38.3 overall lengths and weigh 7.5 pounds. The .45-70 (1:20 twist ratio) is a smidge shorter with a 19.8” barrel and 38.3” overall length. Weight is 7.09 pounds, but it is otherwise the same as its three brothers.
