The .22 Magnum 5-shot North American Arms (NAA) Pug revolver delivers a lot from its little dimensions that start with a 1” barrel. The diminutive rimfire package measures 4 9/16” long, 2 13/16” tall, 1 1/16” wide and only weighs 6.4 ounces.

There are six models in the lineup: NAA-PUG-D, NAA-PUG-T, NAA-PUG-DC, NAA-PUG-TC, NAA-PUG-DP, NAA-PUG-TP. The three models with NAA-PUG-D in their names use a standard white dot front sight. The three with NAA-PUG-T in their name have a tritium front sight instead. The two ending in DC and TC also come with a .22 LR conversion cylinder so you can easily switch between .22 Magnum and .22 LR ammo. The two DP and TP models have a trio of discrete (and functional) circular ports on either side above the muzzle.

All six feature long glare-cutting serrations atop the frame. Dovetailed in front is an XS white dot sight on the NAA-PUG-D, NAA-PUG-DC and NAA-PUG-DP. The companion NAA-PUG-T, NAA-PUG-TC and NAA-PUG-TP have an XS tritium sight instead. All six feature a simple blackout dovetail rear sight marked only by a single vertical white line. This sight has a chopped top pyramid profile.

Due to the longer ammo, the .22 Magnum and .22 LR cylinders are elongated from the normal revolver cylinder proportions. The hammers are thumb shaped and is nicely horizontally serrated on top. They lack trigger guards, so buyer beware.
