The Savage Arms Fox A Grade break-open side-by-side double-barrel shotgun interweaves beauty, performance, classic style and reliable performance with marvelous ease. Spanning 12-gauge and 20-gauge in both 26” and 28” barrels, this superb quartet of premium guns pleases with premium features.

Both the splinter contour forend and straight (English) buttstock are beautiful oil finished American black walnut. The polychrome charcoal case color-finished carbon steel receiver is absolutely breathtaking and visually engrossing. The style is upped by truly exquisite checkering in pennant surrounds on both the straight grip and the forend.

The barrel top has a solid game rib. And atop it is a brass bead front sight. These guns use elite Anson Deeley-style box lock actions coupled with first-class Holland & Holland-type ejectors. The gold double-triggers provide an arresting offset against the blued trigger guard.

All four models feature 14 ½” length of pull and a 1 ½” drop at comb. The 26” barrel guns are 42.5” overall. The 20-gauge weighs 6.375 pounds while the 12-gauge weighs 7.625 pounds. Moving up to the 28” length barrels, the 20-gauge tips the scales at 7.375 pounds while the heavier 12-gauge is 7.75 pounds.

All models have an automatic safety, three interchangeable chokes: improved cylinder, modified and full (IC, M and F) chokes and come a polymer carrying case.
