The SIG Sauer P320MAX is a gray full-size striker-fired 9mm Luger semi-automatic. This competition-ready breathtaking beauty’s centerpiece is its SIG SAUER Electro-Optics 6MOA ROMEO3MAX reflex optic and four (yes, four!) 21-round magazines. Thus, capacity is 21+1.

This 9 mm has a Nitron-finished stainless-steel slide. Nitron is SIG’s name for its PVD (physical vapor deposition) finish. It looks great and makes any gun corrosion resistant and more durable.

The rest of the gun is matte gray. Beneath the gray, the P320MAX has a recoil absorbing tungsten-infused polymer TXG Full-Size XGRIP Module designed for high-precision, stability, recoil mitigation, comfort, durability, balance and more! The XGRIP has a lateral beavertail and a five-slot MIL-STD-1913 Picatinny accessory rail under the muzzle. Despite the size and strength, the module weighs only 13.3 ounces.

SIG loves great ergonomics. Thus, the P320MAX showcases thoughtful touches and well-done tactile surfaces. For instance, the slide has forward wrap-around semi-triangular grip serrations flanking both sides of the front and connecting across its top. The back grips are polygons. You also get excellent non-slip grip texturizing and serrated surfaces for all the levers and other key moving touchpoints.

The magazine release can be reversed for either left-hand or right-hand use. And for more safety, P320s feature a Loaded Chamber Indicator (LCI), striker safety and a disconnect safety.

Integrated in the grip module is the combat trigger guard. It has horizontal serrations and gentle concave surface and a deep undercut at back.

The skeletonized flat trigger reduces trigger pull by about 30% compared to standard P320 curved triggers that have a 6-to-7-pound pull weight. And moving below, this semi-auto has a nice flared magwell for quick magazine swaps.

This is a big gun. So the 6-groove 1:10” twist 5” match grade bull carbon steel barrel sits in a long slide that gives the gun an 8.5” overall length. It is 8.8” tall, 1.6” wide and weighs 43.5 ounces.
