The Winchester SXP is a fast, light, accurate, easy-to-maintain and easy to put into action pump-action shotgun. SXP stands for Super X Pump, which is exactly what is at the heart of this series of guns, a series that numbers almost 50 variants.

Catalyzing the accelerated fire are its inertia-assisted slide-action, long and true slide bars, rotary bolt and more. And when the gun is fired, the Inflex Technology recoil pad largely compensates for the recoil and pushes the comb down and away from your face.

The result is an ultra-fast fire rate of up to three shots per half second. So the SXP is fast. But it’s also durable, built for maintenance and ease of use.

For long term durability and maintenance, Winchester SXPs have black chrome protection where applicable. For instance, the barrel interior has been chromed, providing increased resistance to steel or tungsten shot, rust and corrosion.

It’s also fast to use. For instance, the Winchester SXP’s crossbolt safety button is in front of the trigger guard, for easy reach when you need it. The three-shot adapter can be installed in seconds. Moreover, the gun has a simple retention one-pin for the entire trigger system. Push it out and the entire trigger system drops out easily for cleaning.

Most Winchester SXP shotguns come with the Invector-Plus choke tube system though the actual tubes differ between variants.

Winchester SXP shotgun variants include .12 and .20 gauge, barrel lengths include 18”, 24”, 26” and 28”, magazine capacities of 2 or 3 (with adaptor), different stock designs, materials, weights, sizes and finishes.
