Early Civil War Smith & Wesson No.2 Army in .32 Rimfire. This was also the same model revolver found on Wild Bill Hickok after he was killed in Deadwood. This one was manufactured during the first half of the Civil War. I purchased this along with another No.2 Army from Rock Island Auction last year. Hopefully this beautiful piece of history can find a nice new home! Everything is matching on this including the grips. This is the description from the auction: The revolver has the desirable "half plate" finish combination of a blued barrel and cylinder and a silver plated frame. Less than 10% of the No. 2 revolvers had "half plate" or other special finishes. It has standard markings, matching assembly number "22" on the left side of the grip frame, cylinder, and barrel, and a right grip panel numbered to the gun. The Condition is Fine. The barrel and cylinder retains nearly 30% original blue finish with the balance a smooth brown patina. The frame retains 95% plus aged darkened original silver plating. The grips are also fine showing a missing small chip near the bottom (right panel), some moderate high edge wear, and some minor dings and scratches. Mechanically excellent. This gun is mechanically perfect. I have never seen a tighter lock up on one of these. There is no cylinder play or barrel wobble at all! This has the standard 6" barrel like the one Hickok owned. Everything is tight and functions perfectly. This also comes with an extra cylinder stop part. I only accept USPS money orders but will consider paypal (message me with terms). Contact is expected within 2 days of purchase, and payment is expected within 7 days of contact.
