Excellent condition and guaranteed original WWII Finnish Model 1939 Mosin Nagant rifle in 7.62 x 54r caliber. This very interesting and unusual gun was apparently built using a modified Russian M1891 Dragoon barreled receiver, and still has original Tula markings on the barrel and dated 1924, but has standard M39 sights. Rifle is import marked on the barrel and has matching serial numbers on the barrel and bolt. Buttplate does not match. Metal finish is excellent Finn arsenal blue. Right side of magazine has some pitting under the finish. Bore is bright and excellent with strong rifling. Arctic Birch stock has excellent original finish and crisp edges. Rifle is complete with correct original cleaning rod and green leather sling. A very nice and incredibly unusual M39 Mosin Nagant that will make a fine addition to a collection.
