Super Rare - Here is an original 1942 German WWII MG42 Wood Buttstock and Buffer Assembly that has a rare Waffen Eagle stamping with the WaA code below the eagle on the buffer and the manufacturer code "epf" on the side of the buttstock. It is also dated "42" for 1942. The markiings on this wood buttstock make this a super rare buttstock. Having a Waffen Stamped original German WWII buffer is very rare. The buffer is in MINT condition and the wood buttstock shows lighter than normal surface wear to the wood from usage. The buttstock is stamped on the side with the four digit serial number for the MG42. There are no post-war Yugo markings on this buttstock and buffer. The buttstock also has the solid bottom button which is characteristic of the German WWII buttstocks. The post war Yugo buttstocks had hollow buttons. The black finish on the buttstock is excellent. It is a genuine WWII buttstock and buffer assembly that was used by the Germans in WWII. Please examine the photos carefully for condition. Flat rate insured shipping of $30.00 to anywhere in the USA. No international sales or shipping. Payment via USPS Postal Money Order or bank / credit union check only. Personal checks are not accepted. Please examine the photos carefully as there are no refunds or exchanges as this buttstock and buffer are being sold as-is. Thanks.
