This is a Colt Model 1908 Vest Pocket pistol chambered in .25 ACP. It was made in 1926, going off serial number charts. It has original, deep dish medallion grips and an original two-tone magazine.

The gun is in fair to good condition, overall. The metal retains a decent amount of original blue, particularly on the frame, but the slide has heavy wear in places, along with some pitting and freckling. The grip safety and trigger have quite a bit of factory color case left. The grips show honest wear from carry, with the right panel showing much more wear and flattening of the checkering than the left panel.

The pistol appears to be in very good mechanical condition, though we have not test fired it. The bore is poor to fair with moderate to heavy pitting. Still, the rifling is intact and we imagine it is still quite shootable.

If you have ever wanted a shooter/carry grade Model 1908 Vest Pocket, this is definitely worth a look. It is not a bad looking pistol and still has that old school soul that we all love about old Colts.
