***BEFORE BIDDING READ DESCRIPTION*** Desperately searching for a new home for this little guy right here. Coming in at 25.5" long with a massive heft, in one corner we have the Walther Sportmodell Meisterbuchse in .22lr Olympia edition. This guy right here was prodcued between 1934-1940 by Walther as a single shot .22lr competition rifle. Stats include: sling brace attachment points, adjustable butt plate, Redifled Peep sight, no visible import marks that we can find, and heavy wood stock. This appears to be the Sportmodell V action. This DOES have blems in the barrel bluing where it looks like it has been worn from about an inch forward of the stock and forward. It is no longer a clean even blue, and looks like it mau have had a little surface rust on the muzzle on the right side at one point but is no longer there. Overall I'd rate condition at 85% or better, we are not professional graders, but that's what I would feel confortable setting it at. It's a cool piece of history, that at first glance looks like an 80's sport rifle. How to tell what this is... flag safety, sport cut curved stock, adjustable butt stock. For ANY questions, give us a call we are open 10-6:30 M-F, and 10-5 on Saturdays. Best of luck, I hope you win the auction.
